The Process
Using our Rotobrush or Compressed Air systems, we fully clean the inside of the dryer duct vent along with the rear dryer duct that flows from dryer machine and clean the caps by hand and replace any hoses or clamps/ties, if necessary. Agitation is key in both scenarios but different applications call for different methods and equipment to be utilized depending on the task at hand. From start to finish, the process typically takes one to two hours to complete.
Scheduled Maintenance Renders Results
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recommends cleaning your dryer vent once a year to prevent fires. Having lint build up in the vent is hazardous and holds the potential for fire in the home, as well as extending drying time and therefore increasing your monthly bills.
Your Family and Home Will Feel The Difference
For maximum efficiency and safety, be sure to maintain your dryer vents on a yearly basis. Warm/Hot air produced by your dryer is expelled through a duct and then funneled outside of your home through a dryer vent. This vent has an inside and an outside portion, both of which need to be kept free from obstructions. For example, on the exterior portion, lint, leafs, litter and debris can accumulate around a dryer vent over time, as well as nests of birds or rodents. If your dryer vent becomes clogged, it can pose a fire hazard. It can also cause allergens to recirculate into your home, which can be dangerous to you and your family’s health . For peace of mind, inspect your dryer vents often and schedule an annual dryer vent cleaning.
